Rohre [Ger.] : 'Pipework'. Created to form a Triptych of Saxaphonic discs with as Pt. 1, 'First Reply to Markus, and as Pt. 2, Decollement Horizon; each treating a set of thematic start points very differently. Is it Our 3rd album ? Well yes and no, It is an Album in a real sense, because as a concept, and in its soundworld it an advancement on our Last Album Decollement Horrizon. Strictly it is abonus album, to work allong side our abovementioned releases, as Part 3, of a putative Triptych, making it Album 2A. But it's only a matter of thematics, each of the three parts is quite as good on its own. Our thought in the sound, of the bigger members of the Sax family, is one of the vast aray of rattling pipework needed to produce each note, like the airducting on a Berlin office block !
